This audiobook contains both the biography and the writings of St. Catherine, a 15th century Italian Roman Catholic saint and mystic (1447 – 1510). She was famous for her work among the sick and the poor, particularly during the plague which ravaged Genoa, where she died.
Included are her two most important works:
- A Spiritual Dialogue, which emphasizes love and devotion to God and others
- A Treatise on Purgatory, in which she reflects on suffering, death, purgatory, and the afterlife
She was beatified in 1675 by Pope Clement X and canonized in 1737 by Pope Clement XII.
