Sage is a woman with no time for games. She has teenagers to raise, a business to run and the father of her girls to manage…literally. So, when she goes on a date with JJ and he never calls again, she chalks it up to just another horrible date. Besides, she didn’t like JJ, his dimples, or his muscles covered in tattoos anyway. It’s those little lies that help you get through life!
JJ screwed up and he knows it! He went out with the woman of his dreams and like a moron never called her again. In his defense, life turned crappy right about then so he’s sure she’ll be understanding, it’s not like women hold onto grudges…okay, fine, he’ll need help plus a prayer to get Sage to forgive this colossal mess up.
But their story is far from over. After all, they’ve both been through enough bad times in their lives it’s only fair they get a happily ever after…right? Only trouble is, no one ever said life had to be fair.
